Although the motion didn’t pass, we have had offers of further discussion and involvement with senior officers in taking these important developments and decisions forward.
We were very disappointed that all Labour Councillors opposed our motion when we are sure many, if not most of them, privately supported it.
Liberal Democrats have a proud tradition of working hard for local people and listening to their views. Our councillors always keep people informed about what is going on through regular FOCUS newsletters. I ask for your support on 1st May.
So we will keep fighting - until we can finally build a society where everyone is free to be who they are.
