Warrington Borough Councillors supported a Liberal Democrat motion calling on the government to provide new money for free school meals for all primary school children, including vouchers for holidays. 45 councillors voted in favour with two Conservatives against and one abstaining.

Campaign to restore bus service in Lymm
Residents are still waiting for a response to their plea to restore bus services through Statham. Service changes introduced on 3 October mean that buses no longer travel along Star Lane and Barsbank Lane and passengers must use the stops on the A56.
