Councillor’s Focus newsletter keeps residents informed

WLD

Council officers and staff have been working nonstop during the Covid-19 lockdown and their commitment has been amazing and greatly appreciated.

Councillors have also been busy as usual dealing with issues on their wards. Liberal Democrat councillors believe keeping in regular touch with residents to explain what is going on is an essential part of their job. We have missed being able to do that and are delighted it is now possible to get out on the street again delivering our ward newsletter Focus to catch up on the latest issues and action.

Focus is written and delivered to all houses every few months, all year round, in all wards with Liberal Democrat Councillors - this six-month gap, because of the pandemic, has probably been the longest gap for 40 years in south Warrington! The feedback we get from residents tells us what needs doing and how Councillors can improve things.

We can't meet people face to face now and we miss our regular surgeries but we will keep up the Focus as long as it is safe to do so. Councillors are here to help - it's what we are elected to do!
